Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Trinity, NC to lead multiple accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, and prepare SEC disclosures. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, 4 years of related experience, and preferably a CPA license.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, is expected. Responsibilities include coordinating with departments to achieve accounting objectives and overseeing the close

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 4 years of related experience or training.
• CPA license is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• ERP systems experience required; Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting activities within AR & AP, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, Global Financial Reporting, Internal Auditing, Inventory Control, and Payroll.
• Ensure all final work product is timely and GAAP compliant.
• Ensure reports and filings comply with Sarbanes Oxley and SEC regulations.
• Use GAAP to prepare and manage SEC disclosures and internal/external reporting.
• Assist management by reviewing and explaining financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments to complete accounting objectives.
• Assist in leading the close reporting process to meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
