Job summary

Live 2 B Healthy – Las Vegas is seeking an Aqua Fitness Instructor to lead engaging group water exercise sessions for older adults in senior living communities and community centers with pools. You will deliver safe, effective classes, provide private sessions, and help participants stay active and independent.

We value certifications, reliability, and a compassionate approach, with a flexible, contract-based schedule. On-site work and a supportive team await you in the Las Vegas area.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior fitness, aqua fitness, group fitness, or rehab-based exercise.
• Current nationally recognized fitness certification (REQUIRED: NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent).
• Current CPR/AED certification (REQUIRED).
• Current Insurance (REQUIRED).
• Comfortable leading exercise in and around the water, with awareness of pool safety and emergency procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an encouraging, client-centered approach.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group Aqua Fitness Classes. Conduct scheduled on-site water fitness classes tailored to older adults, using buoyancy and gentle resistance to support low-impact conditioning.
• Private & Small Group Aquatic Training. Deliver personalized one-on-one and small group water-based sessions based on individual goals.
• Ensure Safety In and Around the Pool. Monitor participants for safe exercises; be aware of pool conditions, entry/exit, and emergencies.
• Build Positive Relationships. Create a motivating, respectful environment with residents, staff, and community decision-makers.
• Follow Program Guidelines. Adhere to Live 2 B Healthy protocols and facility rules for all formats.
• Communication & Reporting. Accurately report attendance, feedback, and notes to the Fitness Program Manager.
