Job summary

Relha LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer – Cybersecurity Application Security to implement, administer, and continually improve application security tooling across our software development lifecycle.

The role focuses on integrating SAST/DAST/IAST, API security testing, and software supply chain security into pipelines, with collaboration across engineering, architecture, and cybersecurity teams to raise overall security maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of application security engineering experience.
• Experience implementing and administering application security platforms (SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST, container security, API security testing, supply chain security).
• Experience securing APIs across the development lifecycle (discovery, authN/Z, contract testing, OWASP API Top 10, remediation).
• Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience supporting secure SDLC governance, policy enforcement, compliance reporting, remediation management.
• Working knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation techniques.
• Experience developing and maintaining security standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer application security tooling across software delivery pipelines.
• Integrate security testing and controls into engineering workflows.
• Develop and enhance application security standards, policies, and guidance.
• Analyze findings and metrics to identify risk and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with engineering teams to promote secure-by-design practices.
• Support SDLC governance, vulnerability management, and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, platform, and engineering stakeholders to raise security maturity.
• Contribute to security automation to boost efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Support secure development practices including AI-assisted workflows.
