Qualia is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to set the technical direction for vulnerability management across its products and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will conduct offensive assessments, lead security reviews, and improve automation within the AppSec tooling stack. Ideal candidates possess over 8 years in application security, strong communication skills, and experience with AWS and security tooling. The position offers remote work eligibility and a salary range of $180,000-$210,000, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in application security, offensive security, or security engineering.
• Strong offensive skills in manual exploitation of web and API vulnerabilities.
• Deep familiarity with security tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Run offensive assessments against Qualia's applications and infrastructure.
• Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews.
• Own and evolve the AppSec tooling stack end-to-end.
