Job summary

Amazon's Prime Video is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to drive personalization and discovery science. You will lead hands-on ML development, mentor others, and shape models used by millions of customers across devices.

You will collaborate with engineers and product managers, design offline and online experiments, publish research, and stay current with advanced ML techniques. A PhD or equivalent experience and strong programming skills are required.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• 5+ years building ML models for business applications.
• Proficient in Java, C++, Python or similar languages.
• Experience with neural networks and deep learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI solutions for Prime Video personalization systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to deploy end-to-end AI solutions.
• Design offline and online experiments to evaluate models.
• Publish research findings in top conferences and journals.
