Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Applied Scientist to lead the innovation of our Ads Foundational Model. In this IC role, you will apply advanced machine learning to improve advertiser performance and customer experience for state-of-the-art, large-scale advertising solutions.

You will collaborate withAds teams to evaluate agent performance online and offline, set best practices, and help scale models across verticals including finserv and autos.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.

Responsibilities

• Drive the science vision for developing evaluations of the Ads Agent.
• Partner with senior and principal scientists to develop best practices for evaluating agent performance online and offline.
• Raise the science bar for all agent evaluations developed in Ads.
• Deliver a data driven foundation for deciding when new features are ready to launch in Ads Agent.
