Qualifications

• Ph.D. in relevant social science field with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Excellent quantitative analysis skills and advanced stats programming (R, Stata, SAS).
• Experience leading or co-leading large research projects and published work.
• Experience in a discipline relevant to RCO’s work.
• Ability to work independently with strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead applied research using empirical methods to inform policy and practice.
• Communicate research findings to senior leadership, external audiences, and stakeholders.
• Publish and present research; contribute to policy analysis and briefs.
• Coordinate with visiting fellows and supervise junior staff where applicable.
• Support Bank leadership with data-driven insights on regional economic conditions.
