A leading technology firm in Seattle is looking for a Senior Applied ML Scientist to build core products focusing on fraud detection and financial risk. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent experience, a proven track record in solving complex problems using data science solutions, and strong technical skills in machine learning and Python. The role offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 – $240,000 per year, along with equity and benefits, in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant work experience or PhD, or 6+ years with a Master's.
• Experience in solving complex business problems with DS/ML solutions.
• Experience in writing production code and tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models through the full model development lifecycle.
• Research new types of fraud and develop products around identity verification.
• Write production-ready code for real-time decision making.
