Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Senior MLE to design, build, and productionize ML models and LLM solutions for global financial crime monitoring.

You will own risk features pipelines in Databricks, monitor drift and bias, and collaborate with product, SRE and compliance teams to ensure reliable, auditable AI systems. The role requires deep MLOps expertise, strong NLP and IR fundamentals, and experience deploying scalable ML pipelines within a banking environment.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS/BS with 2+/4+/8+ years in CS/DS/AI or similar
• Strong foundation in IR and NLP
• Expert in JVM-based languages: Python, Java
• Experience deploying models into cloud-scale microservices
• Experience with ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, NeMo, HF Transformers
• Hands-on with AWS and Databricks
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL and messaging systems
• Excellent communication and ownership in an early-stage environment
• Operational experience in production ML applications

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate ML models
• Design, build and operate LLM solutions
• Design feedback and accuracy measurement techniques for AI
• Build risk features data pipelines in Databricks
• Monitor drift, bias, and performance degradation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following agile processes
• Work with Product Managers, SRE and Compliance SMEs to improve outcomes
