RBC Capital Markets, LLC is seeking a skilled leader to head a technical team focused on data management, data engineering and data services for US Wealth Management. You will guide a staff of developers and contractors, align with business partners, and drive scalable technology solutions that improve client experiences and department efficiency.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Application Management experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience with conflicts resolution and escalations.
• Java11, SpringBoot, Git, Jenkins, UrbanCode, JDBC, OpenShift Container Platform 3, Apigee.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of development and application staff including FTEs, contractors, and interns.
• Provides direction, feedback, and development to build staff capability.
• Partner with Product Owners and technical resources aligned to Business Partners.
• Sets technical direction for internal applications initiatives and IT strategy.
• Contributes to technical strategy, roadmap, and currency for applications.
• Manage day-to-day resource allocation and staffing needs.
