Job summary

Synopsys Inc is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead Material Information Management initiatives across customer and internal engagements. You will guide implementation, integration, and adoption of materials data platforms, collaborating with engineering, IT, and product teams to connect data with PLM and CAE.

You will translate complex data challenges into actionable guidance for hands-on engineers and executives, deliver technical workshops, and mentor colleagues to elevate team capabilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, engineering software, or technical consulting roles.
• Strong understanding of product development processes and how data flows across the engineering lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Material Information Management (MIM) or enterprise materials data management.
• Experience with engineering data management, PLM integration, or digital engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior contributor and subject-matter expert for MIM within customer and internal engagements.
• Support and guide customers through the implementation, integration, and adoption of materials data management platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and product development teams to integrate materials data with PLM, CAE, and other enterprise systems.
• Translate complex technical and data challenges into clear recommendations for engineers and senior leadership.
• Deliver technical workshops, demonstrations, and presentations that build confidence and drive adoption of best practices.
• Mentor less-experienced colleagues and contribute to internal best practices.
