Robinhood is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer, Corporate Infrastructure in Menlo Park, CA. You will own a broad surface area spanning cloud infrastructure, identity management, and AI-driven tooling to keep systems healthy, scalable, and secure.

The role sits in Enterprise Technology with a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration 3 days per week. You will partner with Security, IT, and Engineering to advance platform reliability and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability as a Systems, Site Reliability, Cloud or Infrastructure Engineer with 5+ years at similar scale.
• Experience managing Google Cloud with IaC/Terraform following best practices.
• Familiarity with AI tooling such as Claude Code, ChatGPT or Gemini Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Secure and manage Google Cloud infrastructure and Okta Identity Environment.
• Lead design and build of new tools from internal requirements.
• Automate device, account, and identity lifecycle management.
• Serve as escalation point for other teams and triage Enterprise Technology issues.

Robinhood is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer, Corporate Infrastructure to join the Enterprise Technology org.

This is an AI-native role that sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, and identity management. You'll own a wide surface area and work closely with Security, IT, and Engineering to keep our systems healthy, scalable, and ahead of the threat landscape.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What You’ll Do

• Secure & manage our Google Cloud infrastructure, Google Workspace and Okta Identity Environment for Robinhood.
• Leads in the design and building of new tools based on internal requirements and specifications.
• Build automation to support device, account, and identity lifecycle management.
• Act as a point of escalation for other Engineering teams across Robinhood, and assist in triaging issues related to Enterprise Technology.
• Use AI-assisted development as a standard part of normal engineering workflows.
• Perform code reviews, write documentation and drive engineering best practices.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated ability as a Systems, Site Reliability, Cloud or Infrastructure Engineer, preferably with more than 5 years of experience in companies or organizations of similar size and maturity.
• Experience managing Google Cloud using IaC/Terraform tooling, following best practices.
• Familiarity and practical experience using modern AI tooling, in particular Claude Code, ChatGPT, or Gemini Enterprise.
• Have a strong coding or scripting background using Python, Go or other languages.
• Be a creative thinker and problem solver that can just as easily work on their own or as part of a team.
• Have a strong sense of ownership and a passion for improving employee experience.

$161,500—$190,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$141,950—$167,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
$125,800—$148,000 USD
