Job summary

GEOTEK seeks a Sr. Applications Engineer to help lead the design and evolution of engineered composite products used in critical infrastructure applications. This product-focused role offers visibility and impact as you own design from concept through validation and launch.

You will lead development of new composite structural products and translate performance requirements into engineered design solutions, with hands-on analysis, prototype guidance, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in product development or structural design.
• Strong background in structural analysis and performance-based design.
• Experience through product validation and testing cycles.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new composite structural products and enhancements to existing product lines.
• Translate performance requirements into engineered design solutions.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations (hand calcs, FEA, modeling, etc.).
• Guide prototype builds, validation testing, and product qualification.
• Interpret lab and field test data to drive design decisions.
• Create and review engineering drawings, documentation, and technical specifications.
• Support technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify product innovation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
