Job summary

Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer to lead technical support for activated carbon solutions in global markets. You will collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and Sales to justify carbon technology use and develop market strategies.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in carbon adsorption, strong presentation skills, and experience with pilot trials and equipment troubleshooting in customer environments. A Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience applying carbon adsorption technology to address customer requirements.
• 5-7 years of experience using and troubleshooting adsorption equipment at customer sites.
• Business/marketing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide lead technical support for carbon, equipment, and service in domestic or international markets.
• Interface with Engineering, R&D, Product Management and Sales to justify activated carbon solutions.
• Develop strategies to expand base business and evaluate new opportunities.
