Job summary

QuantumScape is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate with internal cell R&D and manufacturing teams to manage customer plans, track specifications and roadmaps, release schedules and milestones. The role requires strong communication, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, with on-site work four days per week.

Compensation includes a salary range of $103,100 to $157,300, plus annual bonus and an RSU/Equity package.

Qualifications

• Masters +3 years of industry experience or PhD in materials or chemistry-related area with professional experience in customer and vendor environments.
• Extensive experience and understanding of lithium-ion cell technology and architecture, materials and components and ideally experience in solid-state battery technology.
• Application of scientific programming (e.g., Python) and statistical methods to analyze large datasets.
• Cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

You will utilize your extensive experience and understanding of lithium-ion cell technology and architecture, materials, and components to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and be accountable for aspects of customer information management.

What you''ll do:

• Coordinate with internal cell R&D teams and cell manufacturing teams to create customer plans, track, and maintain cell specifications and roadmaps, release schedules, program milestones and deliverables, etc.
• Communicate technical customer information to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and deliver technical presentations to customers.

ONSITE:

This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week to meet the minimum essential duties and requirements of this position. As an on-site R&D and manufacturing operations organization, in-person face to face interaction is essential to building authentic relationships, trust, teamwork, and collaboration.

Compensation & Benefits:

Expected salary range for this role is from $103,100 to $157,300 and a final salary will be determined by the candidate's experience, educational background and internal equity. QuantumScape also offers an annual bonus and a generous RSU/Equity package as part of its compensation plan.
