Degenkolb Engineers is seeking an experienced Application Developer to build and support custom business and engineering applications using Python, React, SQL, and Azure. The role collaborates with IT leadership and the ATT and IS teams across multiple offices including Oakland, San Francisco, and others in the West Coast.

You will develop front-end interfaces, back-end services, deploy to Azure, and help maintain documentation, QA, and code reviews.

Qualificações

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related technical field.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, upgrade, and maintain custom applications, tools, and scripts for engineering practice under the direction of senior developers.
• Build front-end interfaces (React) and back-end services (Python, SQL) for internal engineering tools.
• Assist with deployment to Azure and with maintenance and troubleshooting of deployed applications.
• Follow the team's QA/QC, code-review, and version-control standards; write and maintain documentation, tutorials, and specifications.
• Support the development, configuration, and maintenance of the firm's business applications (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Dynamics).
• Build workflows and automations (Power Automate) and reports and dashboards (Power BI) to improve organizational efficiency.
• Assist with API integrations between the firm's systems.
• Help resolve escalated user technical issues related to applications.
• Comply with life-long learning requirements; build proficiency in the firm's development stack, platforms, and standards.
• Seek to learn from senior developers and take on progressively more complex tasks over time.
• Keep the direct manager and senior developers informed of progress, blockers, and issues.
• Collaborate with ATT and IS team members; attend relevant internal meetings.
• Assist in instructing staff on the usage of applications and tools, as directed.
