Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst (AVP) in Tampa, FL to lead and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions.

You will work within the Technology team to deliver secure, scalable applications, while mentoring junior staff. The role requires hands-on expertise in .NET, C#, React/Angular, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures, with strong SDLC discipline and agile practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Full Stack .NET development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET/.NET 8, React/Angular.
• Experience building Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
• 6+ years working with SQL Server (MSaaS) and Oracle, including performance tuning and database optimization.
• Experience with Python, FastAPI, Generative AI, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Financial Services / Capital Markets experience preferred.
• Experience with AI-enabled engineering and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery.
• Follow SDLC standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
• Support modernization, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Provide production support, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders; mentor junior analysts.
