Role Overview

The Senior Applications Developer will lead the development of custom enterprise solutions in Jira, Java-based applications, and Azure.NET custom web applications. They will also provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers.

What You Will Do

The Senior Applications Developer will build, enhance, and maintain custom enterprise solutions, lead and execute the migration of Jira and Confluence, and apply software updates and patches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
• 12 years of experience, or 16 years with a HS Diploma, 10 years with a Master's, 7 years with a PhD
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom Jira solutions
• Hands-on software development experience in Java and JavaScript
• Experience working with relational databases, including SQL and SQL Managed Instance
• 4–6+ years of advanced Azure developer experience
• 4–6+ years of experience with Atlassian Cloud
• Proficiency in Java,.NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C++, C#, SQL, Oracle BI, and PowerShell
• Experience with development tools including Eclipse, Atlassian Custom Developer Tools, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOE Clearance
