Responsible for data engineering processes supporting Analytics and Reporting solutions. Be part of a team to architect the design and build data pipelines into our data platforms that meets business requirements and SLA. Also help lead and execute strategic roadmap to a cloud data platform. Lead work on Data Engineering team focused in designing and building effective and efficient data pipelines for ingestion for analytics and reporting. Demonstrate subject matter expertise of data platforms such as Hadoop, Cloudera, Snowflake, Google Cloud Dataflow, MapR, Azure etc. Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities and build solutions to optimize data processing, improve data quality and reduce failures. Provide operational reporting to Leadership Team. Coach and mentor Junior Engineers on the team. Overall technical leader on multiple projects spanning multiple technologies. Provide expertise and guidance to team across multiple locations and internationally. Drive identification and resolution of issues leveraging technical expertise and product knowledge. Research or triage new, uncommon, or complex, problems spanning multiple systems or applications. Research potential changes, analyze options and implement selected items. Audit results for efficiency, improved quality, or speed. Facilitate explorations with the business teams. Help execute strategic roadmap to a Azure cloud data platform.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science or Computer Applications plus 5 years’ experience including 2 years’ experience with Teradata; 2 years’ experience with Oracle; 2 years’ experience with MS SQL Server; 2 years’ experience with Data Warehousing; and 2 years’ experience with Control-M OR a Master’s Degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science or Computer Applications plus 2 years’ experience including 1 year experience with Teradata; 1 year experience with Oracle; 1 year experience with MS SQL Server; 1 year experience with Data Warehousing; and 1 year experience with Control-M. Telecommuting option – employee may live anywhere in the United States.
