Job summary

Right Hire Consulting LLC is seeking an Application Offensive Security Consultant to lead security testing of applications and adversarial engagements. You will provide SME guidance, perform red team activities, and produce detailed remediation-focused reports for key projects.

This hybrid role requires hands-on testing, reporting, and collaboration with security architects and product teams to strengthen defense postures.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years of experience in application security testing.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in conducting red teaming engagements.
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Burp Suite Pro & OWASP ZAP.
Ability to test manually and live off of the land strategies.
Ability to explain vulnerabilities and weaknesses in OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25 to any audience.
Understanding of MITRE Framework and adversarial methodologies.
Certified in OSCP or GWAPT or related offensive security/red teaming certification.

Responsibilities

Perform red teaming against applications and APIs.
Perform application threat hunting to evaluate risk to applications.
Perform manual security testing of applications.
Provide vulnerability information in predefined report format after testing.
Generate reports on assessment findings and summarize for remediation.
Be a subject matter expert and respond to security engineering questions related to Application Defense enhancements.
Collaborate with Security Architects, Product Manager, Risk Managers, and other teams to deliver high quality product.
