Job summary

Inmar Inc. seeks a Sr. Application Engineer, Cyber Security to design, build, and automate security controls within application architectures and DevOps workflows.

You will work with engineers to remediate vulnerabilities, implement security fixes, and ensure secure SDLC practices across multiple product lines. Candidates should have extensive security engineering experience, cloud security knowledge, and strong coding skills in modern languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; 10+ years in security engineering.
• Certifications preferred: OSCP, CISSP, GCIH, GXPN, GPEN.
• Strong web and mobile application security experience.
• Experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Familiarity with OWASP and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary security expert for multiple product lines and act as the point of contact for engineering and security.
• Design, write, and maintain custom security tools, automation scripts, and scanner rules for CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide actionable code-level remediation guidance and architectural patterns to fix vulnerabilities.
• Support engineering with implementing security fixes and correct use of scanners.
• Lead threat modeling sessions and prioritize fixes by risk impact.
• Document technical designs using required standards; prototype tools where appropriate.
