Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years in application security or security engineering.
• Proficient with OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on code review across two major languages.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, and CI/CD security tooling.
• Experience with cloud security and infrastructure controls.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language for tooling.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Model threats and review security architecture for new and existing apps.
• Perform manual code reviews and security design consultations.
• Operate SAST/DAST/IAST/SCA and secret-scanning tools in CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive vulnerability management, triage, prioritization, and SLAs.
• Develop secure patterns via reusable libraries and frameworks.
• Lead red-team and purple-team exercises; remediate weaknesses.
• Implement runtime protections like WAF, RASP, bot protection.
• Design secure authentication, authorization, sessions, and cryptography.
• Harden containers, Kubernetes, and cloud environments with teams.
• Deliver app security training and onboarding content.
