Job summary

MM International, LLC is seeking an Application Security Engineer – Data Security to join our contract team. The role focuses on building automation and security-focused applications to protect sensitive data, with a hands-on developer mindset and strong Python skills.

You will work across security, engineering, and platform teams in AWS environments. The ideal candidate has experience with application security, endpoint protection, and modern DevOps practices, plus familiarity with CI/CD

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in application security or software security.
• Hands-on experience building security-focused automation and tooling.
• Strong Python development background and cloud platform familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools and security-focused applications.
• Support data security initiatives including encryption, DLP, and access governance.
• Integrate APIs and automation to improve reporting and operations.
• Work in cloud environments and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, architecture, privacy, legal, and platform teams.
• Create technical docs and architecture diagrams for security programs.

Application Security Engineer – Data Security

Job Type: Contract (6–12+ Months, Extensions Possible)

Experience Required: 4–6 Years

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with a strong background in cybersecurity and software engineering to support enterprise-wide data security initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands‑on developer who enjoys building automation, security‑focused applications, and scalable solutions that help protect sensitive data and reduce cyber risk.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills, experience with application/software security, endpoint security technologies, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills (Most Important)

• Strong programming experience in Python
• Experience in Application Security / Software Security
• Hands‑on experience with Endpoint Security Technologies
• Programming experience in at least one of the following:
• Java

• Experience building scalable automation and security‑focused solutions
