Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an experienced Application Security professional to shape security across the software lifecycle. You will evaluate security across multiple applications, perform code reviews, and drive remediation with development teams.

Responsibilities include vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and mentoring developers on secure coding practices to strengthen overall system defenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5-10 years of experience as an Application Security Developer, Application Security Analyst, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates application security in all SDLC phases and defines best practices.
• Performs architecture and design reviews and mitigates vulnerabilities across languages and platforms.
• Collaborates with web Dev, network, and security teams to drive security improvements for projects.
• Defines and enforces application security best practices and policies.
• Conducts vulnerability assessments and coordinates remediation.
• Performs penetration tests and code reviews (manual and automated).
• Trains developers on Secure Coding and security protocols.
