Ilocatum is seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead the spindle repair service facility. The role requires deep knowledge of super precision rolling element bearings used in high-speed rotating equipment and experience in machine tool service or machining/grinding.

You will mentor a team, coordinate repair workloads, and guide sales with technical estimates. The position focuses on improving spindle reliability, evaluating repair costs, and delivering high-quality final reports

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of super precision rolling element bearing engineering and application.
• Experience in machine tool service or machining / grinding is highly desired.
• Strong ethical and self-motivated character with internal drive.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations for rotating equipment elements.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and direct all functions of service facility.
• Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians as direct reports.
• Coordinate with Midwest Service Center to balance workload and direct repairs.
• Support Sales with guidance and technical expertise for estimates.
• Provide guidance on spindle failure causes and improvements.
• Review and finalize spindle evaluation reports and repair costs.
• Schedule repairs to match technicians' experience and proficiency.
• Review final reports to ensure standards and performance for customers.
