Job summary

Maricopa County Recorder’s Office is seeking an Application Development Supervisor to oversee the application development team and provide technical leadership for enterprise systems. You will supervise developers, manage project priorities with the PM team, and ensure secure, reliable software solutions while mentoring staff.

This role blends hands-on coding in .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server with architecture guidance, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration across IT and business units.

Qualifications

  • Five years of related professional-level experience.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#.Net, VB.Net, Azure DevOps, WPF, and SQL.
  • Experience in application management lifecycle, source control, task management, and capacity planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Must be eligible to meet all security and election-related requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain complex enterprise applications using .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, and related technologies.
  • Actively contribute production-quality code while modernizing legacy applications and systems.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the application development team, including assigning work and mentoring staff.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, standards, and best practices.
  • Serve as escalation point for critical issues, perform root cause analysis and restore services.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, database, and PM teams to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.
