The Senior Developer, Application Development serves as a highly experienced, hands-on technical contributor responsible for the development, enhancement, support, and stability of business-critical Fixed Income and Securitized Products applications. This role combines deep technical expertise in Java, C#/.NET, ASP.NET, API development, SQL Server, and enterprise application support with strong business engagement to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
The Senior Developer plays a key role in the analysis, design, development, troubleshooting, production support, and modernization of applications that support trading, operations, risk, market data, and reporting functions. The role requires a strong understanding of Fixed Income and Securitized Products markets, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technology teams to solve complex technical and operational challenges.

9 Years Information Technology, Technical Application Development, or similar experience. – Required.
7 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using C#/.NET technologies with hands-on Java development experience.
Strong expertise with the following:
C#
Java
.NET Framework / .NET Core
ASP.NET MVC and Web Applications
RESTful APIs and backend service development
Object-oriented design principles and design patterns
Advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including:
T-SQL development
Stored procedures
Query optimization

Experience supporting Fixed Income and Securitized Products technology platforms.
Functional understanding of Fixed Income products and structured finance instruments, including:
Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS)
Asset-Backed Securities (ABS)
Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS)
Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (CMO)
Agency and Non-Agency Securities
Pass-Through Securities and Structured Products.
Trade lifecycle management
Fixed Income trading workflows
Securitized Products trading and operational workflows
Pricing and valuation concepts
Positions and inventory management
Market data integration and consumption
Reporting and regulatory processes
Cashflow generation and payment structures
Pool and loan-level characteristics
Principal and interest distributions
Repayment, amortization, and factor-based securities concepts
Trade settlement and lifecycle events
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with traders, sales, operations teams, business analysts, and product owners to understand business requirements, analyze issues, and deliver effective technology solutions.
Functional understanding of how MBS, ABS, CMBS, and related securitized instruments are originated, traded, priced, settled, serviced, and reported across front-office, middle-office, and operational workflows.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

$175,000.00 USD
Maximum:
$220,000.00 USD
