Job summary

Superior Auto Inc is seeking a Senior Application Developer in Fort Wayne, IN. You will design, develop, and improve business-critical applications and integrations, solving complex technical challenges and guiding development standards.

You’ll work with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, user-focused solutions and mentor teammates, with a Monday–Friday office-based schedule. A BS in CS or related field is preferred, with several years of experience.

Qualifications

Several years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and related frameworks.
Experience with relational databases, APIs, source control, testing, and deployment practices.
Ability to analyze business processes and convert needs into effective technical solutions.
Working knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and software architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications and system integrations.
Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and clear estimates.
Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting improvements.
Review code, strengthen development standards, and promote secure coding practices.
Improve application performance, reliability, documentation, and maintainability.
Partner with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Mentor programmers and share knowledge that strengthens the team’s capabilities.
