Job summary

The Alaska Department of Revenue, Tax Division, is seeking an Application Developer 4 in Anchorage or Juneau to advance secure, compliant software solutions. This position is open to Alaska Residents and involves hybrid telework after onboarding.

Responsibilities

Perform systems analysis, design, security, monitoring, and maintenance of applications that handle sensitive and compliance-regulated data.
Serve as a technical lead for complex projects, provide mentoring to junior developers, and support enterprise-level modernization efforts.
Assist auditors, support IRS Publication 1075 compliance, and provide accurate data discovery and reporting across diverse data types and systems.
We have a strong preference for candidates with experience in the Microsoft stack (SQL Server, Visual Studio, Azure, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint Online) and FTI exposure to step into a senior role.
