Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Senior Application Developer to join our team at Eglin AFB. The role supports the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract, focusing on designing, developing and delivering efficient tools and applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in web-based applications, SQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and dashboards in Envision or SharePoint to aid leadership decision making. A Secret clearance and DoD eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university (2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree).
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification is required within 6 months of hire
• Database planning, creation & modification including SQL experience
• General coding or scripting experience. Web application coding experience; both client-side: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and server side
• MS Office Applications used for planning and communication within a team and among work partners.
• Visual Basic/VBA or Mobile application development experience a plus
• Technical/engineering training or experience, especially in a test laboratory or prototype engineering environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Apply strong business process modelling, project management and programming skills to satisfy the needs of users such as technicians, engineers, planners and managers.
• Knowledge of a variety of client and/or server-side programming languages (e.g. Excel Macros/VBA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL) is a solid foundation to start and grow in this position.
• You will rely on effective communication skills and technical savvy to plan, coordinate and complete a variety of often complex assignments both independently and as a member of a team.
• Drive for results, creativity, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and versatility will be rewarded.
• Expertise to build out dashboards in Envision (or other BDP) or Sharepoint which will assist leadership decision making potentially at all levels of the wing.
• Consistent with where they are taking the old Knowledge Management AFSC as they become Data Operations.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Application Developer to join our team at Eglin AFB.

The Application Developer’s primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. The ideal candidate has experience and passion for conceptualizing, designing, developing and/or delivering efficient tools and applications in support of operations or other structured business processes.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Conceptualizing, planning, designing, developing, testing, launching, and/or maintaining web-based applications.

Clearance Requirements

• Must have a current/active Secret Clearance
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)
• Willingness to submit to a Polygraph

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
