Job summary

DigitalCM LLC in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Apple Developer to architect next‑generation software platforms. This senior technical role requires moving between Apple development, AI, spatial computing, networking, security, and backend architecture.

You will build apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac; create RealityKit/ARKit experiences; integrate local LLMs, AI features and edge‑computing patterns; design offline-first architectures and secure data stores.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced Swift/SwiftUI expertise and strong software architecture background.
• Experience shipping production Apple applications.
• Strong networking, API, and database knowledge.
• Git-based development, API integration, SQL/local data and CI/CD experience.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
• Comply with DoD 5220.22-M when handling classified material, including generating, marking, storing, handling, and destroying of classified material

Responsibilities

• Develop applications spanning iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• Develop RealityKit/ARKit-based immersive experiences.
• Integrate local LLMs and other AI/ML capabilities.
• Design offline-first and edge-computing architectures.
• Integrate secure local databases and backend services.
• Establish testing, security, and code-quality standards.
• Conduct code and security reviews.
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers.
• Diagnose difficult engineering problems and help transition prototypes into production-quality products.
• Work directly with company leadership and customers on advanced technology initiatives.
