Atlas Tech seeks a Senior Appian Certified Developer to design and implement complex automation that bridges Appian with PeopleSoft ERP. You’ll create an agility layer allowing PeopleSoft data and workflows to run inside Appian interfaces.

This fully remote role is open to qualified residents across multiple states and requires DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Travel up to 10% may apply.

Qualifications

• Appian expertise with 5+ years in versions 24.x or higher.
• Advanced SQL/PLSQL skills for Oracle or similar DBs.
• REST/SOAP, JSON, XML for cross-system comms.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Bachelor’s in CS/IT or equivalent experience; DoD baseline certs required.

• Model CDTs and Record Types mapping to PeopleSoft DB schemas.
• Develop end-to-end process models in Appian for onboarding, approvals, procurement.
• Create Appian Web APIs for real-time data updates and events.
• Build SAIL forms and dashboards aggregating data from multiple sources.
• Implement OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication for security.

Atlas Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Appian Certified Developer to join our dynamic IT team and contribute to design and implementation of complex process automation solutions that bridge the gap between our Appian low-code platform and PeopleSoft ERP. You will be responsible for creating a seamless "agility layer" that allows users to interact with PeopleSoft data and workflows directly within Appian interfaces.

Fully remote position available to residents in AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Architecture: Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects to consume PeopleSoft web services (REST/SOAP).
• Data Modeling: Architect complex Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that map accurately to PeopleSoft’s underlying Oracle database schemas.
• Workflow Automation: Develop end-to-end process models that trigger actions in PeopleSoft, such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, or procurement updates.
• API Development: Create Appian Web APIs to allow PeopleSoft to push real-time data updates or event notifications back into Appian.
• Interface Design: Build intuitive SAIL forms and dashboards that aggregate data from multiple systems for a unified user experience.
• Security & Authentication: Implement secure handshakes between systems using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

You have

• Appian Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.
• Database Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills (PL/SQL preferred) for optimizing queries against Oracle databases.
• Web Services: Expert knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML for cross‑system communication.
• U.S. Citizenship
• Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Certifications: Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer and Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification) required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Appian Data Fabric for unifying disparate data sources.
• Background in Java or JavaScript for developing custom plugins if standard connectors are insufficient.
• PeopleSoft Familiarity: Understanding of PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, and the ability to work with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements.
• Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) or an Agile/DevOps environment
• Attention to detail with a focus on delivering secure, high-quality solutions.
