Job summary

EY is seeking an Apigee API Engineer to design, build and govern enterprise API solutions. You will manage API lifecycles, secure integrations, and drive CI/CD practices in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in API development, integration, and API management projects.
• Strong understanding of API Security, Governance, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Experience with production support, incident management, and RCA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise API solutions using Apigee.
• Manage API lifecycle: design, security, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
• Document API integrations across applications, cloud platforms, and vendors.
• Develop reusable proxies, shared flows, and security policies.
• Lead technical discussions, gather requirements, and prepare solution specs.
• Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices for API development and deployment.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Ensure API governance and security standards across projects.
