Job summary

A&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior security-focused engineer with TS/SCI w/ CI Poly eligibility for an on-site role in Virginia.

The candidate should hold Security+ CE or higher, have a STEM degree, and extensive experience with API gateways, cloud platforms, and containerization. Requirements include strong programming skills (Java/Python/C#), Windows expertise, and familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, MBSE, and API management tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a DoD/IC-related environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field required.
• Security+ CE Certification or better per DoDD 8140.
• Experience with Windows platforms and COTS apps in cloud environments.
• 5+ years with API gateway technologies (Broadcom API preferred).
• Strong understanding of API design, security practices, and industry protocols.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with cloud-based tech (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Wield API gateway technologies to design and secure integration points.
• Lead cloud architecture and system design for secure IT services.
• Troubleshoot and root-cause analysis using log data and telemetry.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment.
• Document technical designs and system behavior clearly.
