Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – APIs to join our global software engineering team in Denver, CO. You will translate business needs into clear user stories for RESTful API development within a Scrum framework.

Collaborate with product and engineering to model data flows, document API specs (OpenAPI/Swagger), and ensure testable solutions that drive fast onboarding and payments settlement on the Worldpay platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in business systems analysis, specializing in UI requirements, API design/integration, and end-to-end system integration solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable user stories for RESTful API development within a Scrum team.
• Work as part of a Scrum team and collaborate with product owners, developers, and architects to align API solutions with business objectives.
• Define integration points and map data flows between systems using APIs to ensure seamless communication across platforms.
• Review and contribute to API specifications using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI and validate with QA teams.
