Job summary

Captivate Staffing Group seeks a results‑driven QA engineer with 4+ years of experience in a SaaS environment to join our software product team.

You will test APIs, validate complex workflows across integrated systems, and independently craft, execute, and evaluate API test cases using Postman or Insomnia. Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect tracking with Jira and Confluence is expected.

Experience in sprint-based delivery and documenting quality processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software QA engineering within a SaaS or software product environment.
• Demonstrated experience testing APIs and validating complex technical workflows across integrated systems.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent, with the ability to construct, execute, and evaluate API test cases independently.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA’s role within sprint-based delivery models.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira for defect management, test tracking, and reporting; experience with Confluence for documentation.
