Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an IT Service Delivery Manager for the API Platform, Developer Portal & Emerging AI Gateway. You’ll lead Apigee-based API Gateway and Developer Portal teams, shape long-term roadmaps, and drive secure, scalable platforms across the enterprise.

You will own platform health, incident response, and governance while collaborating with security, architecture, and AI engineering to enable internal agility and external connectivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of technology experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience leading software engineering, platform, or shared technology teams.
• Hands-on API gateway and developer portal experience with Apigee X.
• Strong knowledge of API security, governance and modern tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Apigee-based API Gateway and Developer Portal teams delivering enterprise capabilities 24x7.
• Own end-to-end delivery: staffing, planning, execution, and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute strategy/roadmap for API Gateway and related platforms.
• Ensure availability, scalability, resiliency, and performance via automation and observability.
• Own incident management, DR preparedness, and platform health.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, security, and AI teams on roadmaps.
• Own API lifecycle: onboarding, security, governance, monitoring, analytics, adoption.
• Champion developer experience and drive platform adoption.
• Define metrics showing value, quality, and engineering efficiency.
