Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Senior API Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs and microservices in an onsite role in Soth Denver. • 5+ years of API development experience.
• Strong Python development experience with Flask and Gunicorn.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or similar.
• API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Design, develop, and support scalable REST APIs and microservices
• Build backend services using Python (Flask/Gunicorn) and Java
• Develop and maintain API integrations with internal and external systems
• Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve API performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in CI/CD, testing, and deployment automation
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and network engineering teams
