Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking an API-focused engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs within a microservices framework. You will build backend services with Node.js, FastAPI, Ariadne, and Go, and integrate with Databricks for analytics.

The role emphasizes secure, metadata-driven APIs, dynamic authentication, and serverless/microservices on AWS Lambda and EKS. Collaboration with frontend and data teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in API development with GraphQL (Ariadne) and RESTful services.
• Proficiency in API design principles with metadata-driven exposure and adaptable authentication models.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Bedrock, and Kubernetes (EKS) for serverless/microservices.
• Hands-on design of scalable, modular API architectures.
• Expertise in OAuth2, JWT, API Gateway, and dynamic authentication mechanisms.
• Strong knowledge of OLAP workloads and Databricks integration for API-driven analytics.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• CI/CD automation with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline.
• Proficiency in API testing frameworks (Postman, Newman, Jest, Mocha, PyTest).
• Strong debugging, logging, and monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus/ELK.
• Nice to have: GraphQL federation, Apollo Server, AI/ML APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Build backend services using Node.js, FastAPI, Ariadne, and Go.
