Job summary

Raymond James Financial, Inc. is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular and TypeScript. The role supports developer onboarding, CI/CD workflows, and self-service platforms to improve productivity.

You will build responsive, accessible UIs, work with REST APIs, and participate in architectural discussions. Hybrid work model with in-office days at the St. Petersburg, FL location; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS.
• Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible applications.
• Experience developing and consuming modern RESTful APIs in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and modern UI development practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal developer platforms, self-service applications, dashboards, and engineering productivity tools that improve software delivery processes and developer experience.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs, cloud services, automation platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to front-end standards, best practices, and reusable component libraries.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Work within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software in iterative releases.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, maintainability, and performance.

This position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week at the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office location.
