Job summary

UW Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for the Northwest Operating Rooms in Seattle. You will support anesthesia providers by preparing, operating, and maintaining anesthesia equipment, including physiological monitors and blood gas analyzers, under supervision.

The role requires assisting with technical aspects of anesthesia delivery and ensuring rooms are ready for complex cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and trauma cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years as an Anesthesia Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room with all anticipated instruments, supplies, and equipment for each anesthesia procedure.
• Assist in positioning, prepping, and draping patients for surgical procedures.
• Clean and prepare rooms between procedures and restock supplies for end-of-case cleanup.
