Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience relevant to Android.
• Strong knowledge of Android components and app lifecycle.
• Proven track record building or contributing to Android apps.
• Solid design sense and user-centric thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience writing tests and ensuring quality.

Responsibilities

• Own major features and partner with design to deliver high-quality Android experiences.
• Shape the future of the Android team and roadmap.
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering across teams.
• Review PRs and support teammates; handle critical issues.
• Lead feature releases and provide nightly builds for QA.
