Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. seeks an experienced Android Developer to build high-quality, scalable mobile apps using modern Android development practices. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver features, writing clean Kotlin code, and optimizing performance.

You will integrate REST APIs and Retrofit, work with Jetpack components, and contribute to code reviews to maintain quality. A bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 4+ years of Android development in a corporate/enterprise environment.
• 3+ years hands-on Kotlin experience with Reactive Programming, Coroutines, and DI (Dagger).
• Strong experience with Android Jetpack Architecture Components.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and Retrofit.
• Proven experience developing and publishing mobile applications on public stores.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new mobile application features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Kotlin and modern Android practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while optimizing performance.
