Job summary

Verily Health seeks a Senior Android Engineer to join the mobile apps team. You will design, implement, and maintain essential user-facing features in Verily’s core Android app, collaborating across mobile, backend, frontend, UX, PM, and QA to deliver high-quality, regulated software.

You will partner with iOS to ensure cross-platform consistency and drive productivity improvements, while aligning with Product and UX on requirements, mocks, and regulatory protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Android mobile development in an industry setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Native Android development with Kotlin.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, launch and maintain key user-facing features in the Android app core to Verily’s business.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate across mobile, backend, frontend teams and cross-functional groups (UX, PM, Test, QE) to deliver high-quality, regulated software.
• Coordinate with iOS engineers to ensure cross-platform consistency and improve mobile productivity.
• Define requirements with Product/UX/QA, design mocks, and implement regulatory protocols across the system.
