Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York is seeking a Software Engineer III - Android/Kotlin to design and deliver trusted mobile products in a secure, scalable way.

You will build Android features using Kotlin/Java, implement UI with Jetpack Compose, and integrate with backend services. You will contribute to automated testing, CI/CD improvements, and use AI-assisted tools under approved policies to accelerate refactoring and documentation with rigorous validation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin skills and modern architecture knowledge (MVVM/Clean).
• Experience with Jetpack Compose/UI development and accessibility.
• Experience with mobile testing and debugging in complex apps.
• Experience implementing/improving CI/CD for mobile apps.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and secure usage.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android features with Kotlin/Java across devices.
• Lead implementation for moderately complex UI flows and state mgmt.
• Integrate with backend services (REST/GraphQL) and secure auth flows.
• Build and maintain automated tests and improve app stability.
• Drive CI/CD improvements and use approved AI tools with validation.
