Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Android Mobile Developer to design, build, and enhance native Android applications. This role involves leading development efforts with Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and security in mobile applications. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in native Android frameworks, modern architecture patterns, and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications and libraries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
- Write clean, modular, and efficient code following industry best practices
- Participate in the full application lifecycle: design, development, testing, release, and support
- Debug and resolve performance issues, bugs, and system bottlenecks
- Conduct unit testing and ensure code robustness and maintainability
- Review code, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices
- Stay current with emerging mobile development trends and tools
- Adhere to data protection and security standards in mobile solutions
Required Experience
- 6+ years in native Android development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Expertise in Jetpack Compose and Android SDK
- Hands-on experience with Gradle/Maven for building libraries
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with unit and Android testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Fastlane, Docker)
- Understanding of architectural patterns: MVC, MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native, iOS)
- Familiarity with Bluetooth protocols, OAuth 2.0, external accessories
- Exposure to Google Play policies and app submission processes
- UX and accessibility best practices
