Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced Android Engineer to lead native app development for our MPC Wallet Android client. You will ship end-to-end features with Kotlin, Android SDK and Jetpack, focusing on performance, security, and quality across multi-team collaboration.

You will work in a remote-first environment with a global engineering team, drive architecture decisions, write tests, and continually improve user experience while aligning with security and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of native Android development with shipped products.
• Proficient in Kotlin; strong knowledge of Java.
• Solid command of Android SDK and Jetpack components (Lifecycle, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, WorkManager).
• Experience with Jetpack Compose or traditional View system; able to build complex UI.
• Familiar with MVVM / MVI / Clean Architecture.
• Experience with networking (OkHttp/ Retrofit), serialization (Protobuf / JSON), and DI (Hilt / Koin).
• Knowledge of Android security: KeyStore, encrypted storage, pinning.
• Strong code review habits; familiarity with Git workflows.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools to boost development.
• Strong cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Core Development: feature development and architecture optimization of the MPC Wallet Android client.
• Security Implementation: client-side security modules including key management, MPC signing flows, and device binding.
• Cross-Platform Collaboration: align interfaces (API/Proto) with iOS, backend, and Web teams for multi-platform consistency.
• Performance Optimization: optimize startup speed, memory usage, network requests, and UI rendering.
• Quality Assurance: write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and drive CI/CD pipeline development.
• Technical Research: track new Android technologies and evaluate suitable tools and frameworks.
