Job summary

Patriot Engineering and Environmental, Inc. is seeking Senior and Entry Level Construction Inspection Engineering Technicians for field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and reinforcing steel on San Antonio construction projects. Training will be provided for entry-level candidates.

Travel and overtime may be required. Candidates with CME field experience or certifications (ACI, ICC, OSHA) may receive a higher pay rate. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Preferred ACI or ICC certifications.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Availability for overtime, after-hours, and weekends based on business needs.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Senior and Entry Level Construction Inspection Engineering Technician – San Antonio, TX

Patriot Engineering and Environmental, an employee‑owned engineering firm headquartered in Indianapolis, is looking for technicians to conduct field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and reinforcing steel on construction projects in San Antonio.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soil, reinforcing steel, concrete, and asphalt.
• Document and report test results; basic MS Excel experience required.
• Assist in laboratory as needed.
• For entry‑level candidates: no prior experience required; training will be provided. Candidates with CME field experience or certifications (ACI, ICC, OSHA) will receive a higher pay rate.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $19–$25 per hour, based on experience.
