Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect with FP&A and Merchandise Financial Planning expertise to bridge business requirements and Anaplan solutions. You will lead architecture, design, and implementation while ensuring scalable, high-quality deliverables and strong governance across model security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT, planning systems, or consulting experience.
• 3+ years hands-on Anaplan implementation and solution architecture experience.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes.
• Experience with Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP).
• Expertise in Anaplan model building, workspace administration, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of Anaplan security, including Selective Access and Dynamic Cell Access (DCA).
• Proven analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions with business users.

Responsibilities

• Translate financial planning requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand planning processes and convert needs into deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models and workspaces following best practices.
• Manage Anaplan security, including Selective Access and DCA.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis on model and data issues.
• Interpret user stories from Agile sprints and deliver high-quality Anaplan solutions.
• Drive solution optimization, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
