Job summary

Alteryx, Inc. is seeking a senior planning architect to lead the design and evolution of our connected planning environment, owning Anaplan architecture, technical roadmap, model standards, and major planning solutions across FP&A.

You will partner with FP&A, Finance Analytics Engineering & Automation, Finance Data & Analytics, and business stakeholders to determine how planning processes should be designed, integrated, and operated over time, including Anaplan Data Hub and downstream reporting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Anaplan ownership of enterprise architecture and major solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Anaplan Data Hub design, dimensional architecture, and model performance.
• Strong command of Anaplan lifecycle management, release processes, testing, and governance.
• Proven ability to design and troubleshoot complex Anaplan models, formulas, and integrations.
• Strong FP&A understanding including forecasting, annual planning, headcount, revenue, and scenario planning.
• Experience designing planning user experiences balancing architecture, usability, and adoption.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms, SQL, APIs, and integration contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own connected planning and Anaplan architecture across FP&A footprint, including model design and roadmap.
• Translate planning requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions and decide when to use Anaplan vs other layers.
• Lead Anaplan Data Hub architecture, lifecycle management, and release discipline.
• Establish reusable modeling standards, patterns, and runbooks for maintainability.
• Lead major Anaplan builds from design to adoption and ongoing support readiness.
• Partner with Finance Analytics Engineering on integrations between Anaplan, Snowflake, and automation tools.
• Serve as escalation point for complex Anaplan questions with clear recommendations.
• Coach Anaplan builders across the Finance team and ensure governance.
